1. Purpose of this policy
The Business subscription provides access to professional dashboards, market reports and filtered data exports. Export allowances support normal business analysis while preventing automated harvesting or systematic reconstruction of the underlying Spachus dataset.
This Fair Use Policy applies to use of Spachus Business in addition to the Spachus Terms & Conditions.
2. Permitted Business use
Spachus Business may be used for genuine internal professional purposes, including:
- reviewing Business dashboards, reports and market comparisons;
- exporting reasonably filtered datasets for internal analysis;
- using Spachus data and insights in internal reports and presentations;
- supporting property, market, agency, research or investment analysis;
- combining Spachus insights with a subscriber's own internal data and analysis.
3. Current export allowances
The following operational export allowances currently apply to a Spachus Business subscription:
Subscribers with a legitimate requirement for higher-volume access may contact Spachus to discuss an appropriate higher-volume data or API arrangement.
4. Use that is not permitted
Spachus Business is not intended to operate as an unrestricted bulk-data feed. Fair use does not include:
- automated, scripted or systematic harvesting of report or export data;
- repeatedly changing filters primarily to bypass export allowances;
- using exports to reconstruct or substantially reproduce the Spachus database;
- reselling, sublicensing or distributing substantial portions of Spachus data as a standalone or competing dataset;
- sharing account credentials or coordinating multiple accounts to avoid applicable usage controls;
- attempting to circumvent technical measures used to protect the service or its data.
5. Export monitoring
Spachus records Business export activity for service security, fair-use administration and abuse prevention. This may include the account identifier, report used, market and filters, requested/exported row counts, timestamps and technical information such as IP address and browser user-agent details.
Export monitoring is used to administer the Business service and its usage allowances. The handling of personal information should also be read together with the Spachus Privacy Policy.
6. What happens if fair-use controls are triggered?
Where an export exceeds an applicable allowance, the export may be prevented and the subscriber may be asked to narrow the selected filters or wait until the relevant allowance resets.
Where Spachus reasonably identifies automated harvesting, attempts to circumvent usage controls or other material misuse, Spachus may temporarily restrict the affected export functionality while the activity is reviewed. Where appropriate, Spachus will contact the account holder and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
7. Changes to export allowances
Export allowances may need to change over time as the Business service develops. If Spachus makes a material reduction to the included Business export allowances, reasonable notice will be provided to affected subscribers before the change takes effect where practicable.
The current allowances will be published on this page so subscribers can see the limits that apply to the service.
8. Higher-volume requirements
Business customers who need larger or more specialised data access should contact Spachus before attempting to work around the standard export allowances. A separate data-access or API arrangement may be more suitable for high-volume use.
